The advantage of continuous extrusion technology for copper strip:
  The oxygen-free copper strip produced by continuous extrusion copper strip is higher conductive thermal conductivity and better extensibility and stamping than the traditional copper belt.
The copper strip which produced by continuous extrusion copper strip has mechanical properties of hot rolled copper strip based on the cost of production of horizontal continuous casting, and the oxygen content is less than 10PPm, the conductivity is more than100% IACS.
  Product technology process reaches the international advanced level, uniform structure, no porosity, blister, slag inclusion and other defects, is particularly apply to electronic stamping parts, transformers, electrical equipments, tin plating copper strip on solar PV, outer conductor of electrical cable, as well as the copper clad aluminum( magnesium) alloy wire, etc.


  It uses the continuous extrusion technology to produce copper strip, the strip has large diameter and long length, short production process and good product quality. It has following disadvantage which compared with the traditional horizontal continuous casting method for producing copper strip:
  (1)The oxygen content is less than 10PPm, the conductivity reaches 100% IACS. has higher conductive thermal conductivity and excellent welding performance.
  (2)The continuous extrusion strip is recrystallization texture after hot working, it takes only a very small deformation to obtain the excellent properties of copper strip. So under the condition of same thickness of the strip, can produce more wider scope thickness of the product.

  (3)Due to the continuous extrusion strip has good plasticity, the single pass deformation of cold rolling can reach up to 40%. has better extensibility and deep drawing.
  (4)The production process of continuous extrusion method is flexible processing, can adjust the width of strip flexible according to the different customers’ requirement, thus improve the material utilization, reduce production costs. At the same time, further reduce the production cost by matching and optimizing the thickness of the strip and cold rolling deformation, the economy is remarkable.

  (5)Having a higher yield and lower power consumption, the benefit of energy conservation and emissions reduction is remarkable.
